  Dance Information
   
  Ponderosa offers a variety of dances throughout the school year for students to enjoy.
Below is a listing of the scheduled dances for the 2012-13 school year.
   
 

  • Please be advised that the Ponderosa Dance Policy is enforced at all dances and most dances require a specific dress code.

  • For admittance to the dance, students must bring their current Ponderosa ID/ASB card, ticket, and guest pass for off-campus guests.

  • ID and ASB cards will be scanned and used as your ticket.

  • Dates and prices are subject to change.

  • Participants may be subjected to alcohol breathalyzer checks by the Administration.

  • Guest passes require a signature from the guest's school.  Plan ahead!

  • Doors close at 9 p.m. for all dances.
 
 
 
Outdoor Dance - Welcome Back Dance
When: Friday, August 17, 2012
Time: 7:00 - 10:00 pm
Where: Quad
Dress: School Dress Code
Other Restrictions: Ponderosa students only, bring temp ID/ASB card
Admission: $5 tickets sold at the door only
 
 
 
Homecoming Dance  -  This dance may sell out early!
When: Saturday, September 29, 2012
Time: 7:00 - 10:00 pm  (doors close at 8:30 pm)
Where: Large Gym
Dress: Semi-Formal Dress Code
Other Restrictions: Ponderosa students and guests with a guest pass, all school fines must be cleared to purchase a ticket, current PHS ID or ASB card required to purchase tickets.
Admission:
  • Tickets sold during lunch from September 10 to 21
  • First week only, September 10-14:  $10 with ASB card; $15 without card or Guest
  • Thereafter, September 17-21:  $15 with ASB card; $20 without card or Guest.
  • Final day to purchase a Guest ticket:  September 19
  • Tickets limited to 1,200
  • No exchanges or refunds

Where: Large Gym
Dress: School Dress Code
Other Restrictions: Ponderosa students and guests with a guest pass, all school fines must be cleared to purchase a ticket, current PHS ID or ASB card required to purchase tickets.
Admission:
  • Tickets sold during lunch at the Student Store from February 19 to February 26, 2013
  • Final day to purchase a Guest ticket:  March 6
  • First week only, February 25-March 1:  $10 with ASB card; $15 without card or Guest
  • Thereafter, March 4-8:  $15 with ASB card; $20 without card or Guest.
  • Tickets limited to 1,200
  • No exchanges or refunds

Junior-Senior Prom  -  This dance may sell out early!
When: Saturday, May 4, 2013
Time: 6:00 - 10:30 pm 
Where: Sacramento Hilton Arden West
Dress: Formal Dress Code required
Other Restrictions: Ponderosa juniors and seniors with current PHS ID or ASB card and guests with a signed guest pass.
Admission:
  • $75 with ASB card, $80 without ASB card (includes dinner and dancing)
  • Seniors only ticket presale:  March 21-22
  • Tickets sold during lunch at the Student Store:  April 2-9
  • Last day to purchase a Guest Ticket:  April 5
  • Tickets limited to 600
